• Contract: to run your account, bookings, check-in, logbook and the features you ask for.
• Legitimate interests: to keep SkyLara secure, prevent abuse, fix errors and understand how features are used (you can turn product analytics off in the app).
• Consent: for location, camera, photos, microphone and notifications (through your device permissions), and for the health details you choose to add, such as blood type, allergies or a medical certificate. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: to keep payment and accounting records the law requires.

You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data (portability), to restrict how we use it, and to object to uses based on legitimate interests. You can correct most data yourself and delete your account in the app under Profile › Settings. We answer within one month, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

SkyLara’s servers are in Germany. Some service providers process data outside the EEA, including in the United States; those transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, as part of the providers’ data-processing terms.

Please contact us first so we can help. You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in the EU country where you live or work, or where you think the problem happened. The European Data Protection Board lists them at edpb.europa.eu.
